I’m collaborative, honest, and have a great sense of humour. Here’s the process for commissions.
Initial Consultation (Free, 30 minutes)
We discuss your vision, the story or feeling you want to capture, intended location, timeline, and budget. I'll share relevant examples from my portfolio and determine if we're a good fit. This can happen via phone or online.
Proposal & Agreement
Within one week, I provide a detailed proposal including concept approach, dimensions, materials, timeline (typically 4-8 weeks depending on size and complexity), and pricing. Upon agreement and 50% deposit, your commission is scheduled.
Development & Progress Updates
For portraiture and commemorative work, I typically request reference photographs and have a brief conversation about what matters most to you about the subject. For conceptual commissions, we may have additional consultations during the development phase. I provide progress photos and digital concepts at key stages.
Completion & Delivery
Before final delivery, you'll receive photographs of the completed work. The remaining 50% payment is due upon approval. Melbourne metro delivery or studio pickup included; interstate/international shipping available at cost.

I provide progress updates at key stages so you can see the work developing. However, if you're unhappy with the completed piece, we'll discuss adjustments where possible. My goal is work that resonates with you.
