About Aprill

Who I work with

I work with businesses, organisations and founders who have an idea, project, or opportunity taking shape, but need help defining what it is and how it comes to life.

Together we shape the concept, creative direction and next steps, turning early ideas into something clear, cohesive and ready to move forward.

I get excited at the idea stage, which is why I like helping people realise their vision as much as I like realising my own.

What I bring

A woman stands in an art studio wearing pink and black leopard print shirt, blue jeans, and red rubber boots. She has short, wavy brown hair and is covering her face with one hand. The studio has artwork, supplies, and a white brick wall.

I started in retail signage and screen printing, with a stint in public radio on the side. I learned early how to grab attention and tell a story.

Then came twenty years in corporate technology, management consulting, and startups, including co-founding a fintech where I built governance infrastructure, managed investor relationships, and held operational pieces together while we matured.

Now, I'm back in the studio. Painting, making things, completing my Diploma of Visual Arts, and doing the kind of work where what you make by the end of the day is something you can see, touch, and feel.

How I help

It begins with a phone call or an email, so I can understand what creative problems you need help solving. From there we will schedule a longer meeting or video call to really flesh things out—intention, preferences, budgets, existing stakeholders.

Maybe you’ll need me to:

  • structure and refine the creative brief you need to give to artists, designers or other service providers; or

  • co-ordinate your project and act as the bridge between your corporate team and your creative services; or

  • produce an artwork to a brief you already have.

You can skip straight to a Creative Direction Session, if you’re ready to go. A one-hour online meeting is $450. Book now.
